Failure to load inherited forms in VS with spies installed
Link Posted: 30-May-2006 07:49
I have noticed a compatibility issue between Spies & VS IDE. With Spies.VSIP install I get an error when trying to load a form that has been inherited from another form.

Microsoft have this KB:912019 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912019/en-us which they report an issue.

This KB states that if you reload VS IDE the cache is cleared which resolves the problem, but with Spies installed this problem remains.

Removing Spies installation resolves this problem?

I have reported this problem to 9Rays.

Regards

This will appeared when assemblies incorrectly resolved. Please check/refresh the references of your project and path references.
Since v5.0.0.7 Spices.Net doesn't handle resolving assemblies within VS (and resolve assemblies in the process of obfuscation or loading into AssemblyBrowser, but internally. These processes don't affect on assembly resolution by VS), and this problem - problem of VS.

I'm 100% positive, I have spent 2 days checking references trying to resolve this issue. If I install 9Rays the problem exists, if I uninstall 9Rays the problem disapperars, if I reinstall 9Rays the problem reoccurs. I have also noticed 9rays asking to resolve assemeblies within my project.

I'm very sure this problem exists before posting this problem and I posted to notify other users if the have the same problem. Don't get me wrong, I love your product.
