I have Spices.Obfuscator VSIP installed. If I start stand alone Spices.Obfuscator the About box indicates I have the VSIP license installed. If I start Visual Studio, the splash screen and the About dialog say \"A VSIP license is required to use this version of Microsoft Visual Studio\". Is there some other licensing step I am missing?

As I've understood the version of VS is VS 2005 (8.0.50727.42).
Is this a Visual Studio Express?

Please check the existence of NineRays.VSIntegrator05UI.dll assembly in the \\Bin\\1033 folder of the Spices.Net installation folder. This assembly contains license key to use Spices.VSIP in Visual Studio 2005.

It is Visual Studio Pro not Express. The dll in question is present.

To solve this problem try following steps:
1.Copy the NineRays.VSIntegrator05UI.dll file from \\Bin\\1033 folder to the \\Bin folder of Spices.net installation.
2. Unregister VSIP(run spices.exe /UNREGVSIP05) and then register VSIP(run spices.exe /REGVSIP05)
