FlyTreeView for ASP.NET 1.1 - domain and developer licensing
Link Posted: 24-Apr-2006 22:16
Is there a licensing FAQ for the ‘FlyTreeView for ASP.NET 1.1' product?  I have searched this forum at but cannot see a simple explanation of the difference between the domain-based and developer-based licensing for the ‘FlyTreeView for ASP.NET 1.1'

We are looking to purchase 'FlyTreeView for ASP.NET 1.1' today (as our trial version has expired) and need to give management an exact costing ASAP.  Could someone please explain the difference between these licensing models?

Our current environment consists of 1 production domain and a separate test domain, with around 3 development pc's (total) connected to either domain, we currently have 2 developers.

Specifically I would like answers to the following:

- Does your description of a domain mean an Active Directory domain or similar, or are you referring to individual PC's/Servers?
- Does the developer-based licensing cover you for running the product in production, if so what is the reason for having 2 licensing models?

Thanks,

Lloyd

It means top level domain name (e.g. 9rays.net).

The reason is giving a customer the way to choose the most convenient model in particular situations.
