.NET Framework 2.0 is mandatory?
Link Posted: 14-May-2006 03:56
Good morning
I discovered that Obfuscator 5 requires .NET Framework 2.0 installed. This (IFAIK) is no mentioned in the 9rays' Website.

I have some considerations about this:

- I'm a single programmer with a limited expenses budget
- My choice is Framework 1.1
- My clients still use Framework 1.1
- I'm not planning to switch to Framework 2.0
- 9rays offers a Framework 1.1 obfuscator tool that works only with Framework 2.0!
- 9rays de-facto force me to install what I don't need to install
- 9rays doubled price of previous release (v4) obfuscator
- 9rays (AFAIK) recalled the less-expensive version 4 of the obfuscator
- as usual, complicated and penalizing licensing mechanism means, and this is undebatable, that honest purchasers PAYS and suffers for dishonest

Can 9rays try to give a sense to ALL these considerations?

I think that 9rays.obfuscator is a great program. A masterpiece, considering that it has been developed by a single programmer. Despite that the price is still competitive against other market tools, my opinion is that a doubling of the price is understandable.

Does 9rays plan a special launch discount offer?

Thank you.
