Which Flytreeview ASP.NET 2.0 license is the best for us?

Hi,

I'm a bit confused about how to license this product for our current situation.

I and a few other contractors are working for a client on a webapp. We work offsite and we all work in different locations. The webapp is an in house application currently to run on one server (maybe more in the future).

What is the most appropriate license that we should purchase so that we (the contractor developers) can continue developing where we are, and have the application running at their in house server(s)?

Thanks,
Rich

Rich,

You're free to choose one of licensing options: domain-based or developer-based.

If you have a single production domain running the app with FlyTreeView then Single Domain License will cover your case.

If you plan to develop more applications then you can be interested in one of developer-based licenses (Single Developer, Team or Enterprise). Enterprise license also provides complete source code of the control.

After we purchase the license. How is it applied? Do we have to include a file with our deployment, or do we have to add some code to the project?

Thanks,
Rich

Rich,

All you need is to uninstall trial version and install retail one.
Then, you need to make sure you have correct version of the control DLL files in the Bin directory of your web application. And you probably will need to rebuild your application in order to make sure all references point to correct control version.
